Husky sleigh ride

Cross-country ski trails in Dorfgastein
The Mühlbachloipe offers 2.5 km of varied trails with many ascents and descents. Perfect for experienced cross-country skiers looking for a moderately demanding challenge. Starting points are located in Mühlbach, Maierhofen and at the Café-Restaurant-Bar Stoani.

Ski tours
Dorfgastein offers ski touring fans two varied routes up the Fulseck, which make the ascent an unforgettable experience.
Ski tour from the middle station:
The ST8 ski tour starts at the middle station of the summit lift and leads past the Heumoosalm and the Arltörl. After 4.8 kilometers and 600 vertical meters, you will reach the Fulseck at 2,033 meters – you will be rewarded with a breathtaking panorama.
Ski tour to the Spiegelsee:
This route starts at the valley station and runs in two stages. First, you head up through snow-covered forests to the middle station, before the second section continues along the Wengerkapelle chapel to the Spiegelsee lake. In total, you will cover around 1,000 meters in altitude to reach this picturesque destination.
Ski tours in Dorfgastein
– Pay attention to warnings and local regulations.
– Only ski on freshly groomed slopes at the edges.
– Always ascend at the edge of the slope and one behind the other.
– Make sure that you are clearly visible. Do not take dogs onto the slopes.
– Observe and follow the closure of slopes.
– Leave the slopes in the evening at the time specified by the cable car company.
– Only cross the slope in clear places and keep a sufficient distance from others.
– Only use designated ascent routes or slopes that are intended for piste tours.
– Only park your vehicle in the designated parking spaces.

Snowshoeing
The snowshoe route up the Fulseck combines exercise in the great outdoors with breathtaking views. The ascent begins at the middle station of the summit lift and leads via the idyllic Heumoosalm and the Arltörl to the summit. On the 4.8-kilometre route, you cover almost 600 meters in altitude and immerse yourself deep in the snow-covered winter landscape.

Tobogganing
Tobogganing becomes an experience in Gastein! Whether during the day or in the evening – the natural toboggan runs offer speed, fun on bends and challenges for all ages.
The Aeroplan natural toboggan run on the Schlossalm offers ideal conditions in good snow conditions. The wide run and fast bends make it perfect for an exciting duel between parents and children – skill and the right technique are required here.
The floodlit Bellevue Alm natural toboggan run in Bad Gastein is ideal for night owls. Even the ascent on one of the last single-seater chairlifts is a highlight. With a length of up to 3.5 kilometers, both runs guarantee unforgettable moments for the whole family.
